it's 2025! it really is interesting how time seems to pass quicker and quicker,
i feel like i barely did anything productive this year. sure, i have no idea what
productivity even means; i kinda just press buttons in a logical order. but just like
everyone else i will be attempting to make this year better than the last.

every Christmas i seem to just know less and less what i want. i had some trouble
this year thinking of anything. but i ended up with some pretty cool gear nonetheless.
i got some XKCD/munroe books, clothes, a pretty nice camera bag, a open-source watch...
then of course i had to go out and impulse buy some more things, but it is what it is.
my main outgoing gift plans kinda fell through; i ended up giving out some favors instead.
i really should plan better and get my gifts done before Christmas and not like the week of...

well i can't go without mentioning the meta of this note: it is the first. i wanted to
start this because i kinda missed the short logs i would write on my BlackBerry 6280,
it's not working as well anymore and it doesn't take that long for it to die off a
full charge, so it's just been in the drawer. but i loved that keyboard
